About

Established since 1988 The Apple Orchard is set in the historic village of West Wycombe cradled in the rolling hills of the Buckinghamshire Chilterns. This is an area largely owned by The National Trust and has kept many of its original 17th century assets. In fact, The Apple Orchard's thirteen showrooms are housed in two wonderful 17th century buildings. The Apple Orchard is run by husband and wife, Huw and Carolyn Meyrick, who aim to offer fine furniture and rare, intriguing gifts. Carolyn does all the buying and merchandising whilst Huw attempts to keep up with deliveries, and assist Carolyn with the day-to-day running of the business.

As a family run business we pride ourselves on offering you the customer a first class service, whether you are buying a large item of furniture or a small gift we value your custom.

History

The shop was originally split in two, serving as both a grocers and a butchers as the photograph shows. It still has all of the features from the 17th century including low ceiling and its classic beams. From the front of the shop you can still see both of the doors that used to belong to the two separate establishments.
